Hills Balfour is the pre-eminent  travel and tourism PR agency in the UK without a single, tiny flicker of a shadow of a doubt. They have the best clients, the best staff and - most importantly - the best ideas.

In the five years I have worked with them, I have found their grasp of what makes a good story to be impeccable. Many of the very best stories - travel or otherwise - I have been involved in, either writing or commissioning - or even just reading - have been Hills Balfour productions.

There is a reassuring stamp of class about everything the company does and I would not hesitate for a single second in wholeheartedly recommending them to anybody and everybody looking for representation in this field.
There's actually a semi-official Hills Balfour appreciation society among London's travel writing fraternity. It's called everybody.

Andrea Hogg

What I have done…

I knew from the age of 7 that I wanted to go into travel and was so determined to educate myself. I was one of the first graduates in Travel and Tourism at Northumbria University. My career has spanned tour operation, car hire, hotels and theme parks. I have been lucky to work for several large brands where I learnt a great deal, particularly the power of a good brand. My biggest regret is never taking a gap year to travel – maybe I will do it when I retire!

What I do now…

I am the Consultant Account Director for Outrigger Resorts. This amazing brand has beautiful resorts in Hawaii, Fiji, Thailand, Mauritius and Fiji and I have been lucky enough to have visited all but Fiji. My role is to drive sales from the UK to these resorts from getting contracts with tour operators, managing relationships to product training. I cover all the UK and Ireland so it is a lot of work but I am supported by a great team.

What I do for fun…

I love sport and run at least twice a week. I have just completed my level 1 Netball Coaching and currently play for two teams.  My passion though is to watch and support my children in any of the activities they undertake which is quite a lot!

What I bring to Hills Balfour…

I bring a great deal of experience and established relationships with tour operator product managers and contractors who I have grown up with throughout my career. Working from my home office allows to me to be flexible which is particularly useful when talking with Hawaii!
