Friday October 25th 2019 marked the 10th anniversary of the launch of British Airways’ nonstop service to Las Vegas from London. The flight helped put Las Vegas on the map as a destination that could sustain an international direct service and helped position the city as a leading short-break destination for the UK market.

Arizona Office of Tourism's UK Media Mission took place between 18-21 June, with representation from the Arizona Office of Tourism and Hills Balfour. The week-long media mission comprised two media events, eight individual meetings and two telephone interviews, and a total of 21 media titles attended appointments in both Dublin and London.

In April 2019, the Arizona Office of Tourism partnered with American Airlines to host a group of British travel writers from the UK. The group visited Phoenix, Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon National Park and Mesa.
